UK Packaging Award Winners 2014

Flexible Plastic Pack of the Year –

Congratulations to ASDA Supermarket who were awarded the top prize in the Flexible Plastic Pack of the Year category last night at the UK Packaging Awards dinner held in central London.

The Simply Roast in the Bag uses DuPont Teijin Films heat-sealable polyester film Mylar®, which seals in the chicken and aluminium tray. The wrap is sealed at point of packing and throughtout the supply chain through to the supermarket.  The consumer does not have to touch the raw product at any point as the whole pack can go straight into the oven.
